Mazda5/4WD Premacy Introduced by Mazda
The Premacy minivan four-wheel drive version has officially been introduced by Mazda. This new model has been titled Premacy here and Mazda5 in Japan. This car appeared for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010 and will be available across the U.S. only in 2011 – during its second half.
Despite the fact that customers in North America will have to wait for the new Premacy more than a year, this stylish vehicle can already be purchased in Japan.
What concerns the car’s drive system it is in default four-wheel automatic mode. However, the drivers have a chance to choose between an all-wheel full-time drive program and an only front-wheel drive mode.
The 4WD Premacy is equipped with the following engine: MZR 2.0-liter DOHC. It is likely that this engine will be found in the Mazda5 that will be sold in the U.S. Moreover, the vehicle has a four-speed automatic transmission. Knowing that U.S. buyers prefer all-wheel drive cars, we anticipate that the Mazda5’s AWD version will definitely appear.
And now it is time to speak about the 4WD Premacy price. To tell the truth, it is quite reasonable and is over $23,000.
